Collier CARES (Community Application for Resources and Emergency Services) is a bilingual mobile and web application designed to connect individuals in need with essential resources and services available in Collier County, Florida.
In collaboration with the Community Foundation of Collier County and the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation, the Naples Children & Education Foundation (NCEF), known for establishing the Naples Winter Wine Festival, developed this application to assist the most vulnerable communities in Collier County.
Collier CARES serves as a platform for families to promptly access pertinent resources and services tailored to their requirements. Service providers showcase their offerings, detailing locations, operational hours, and pertinent service information. Users can browse through 12 categories such as Education, Food, Benefits, Jobs, Crisis, Mental Health, Health/Wellness, Shelter/Housing, Transit, Legal, Substance Abuse, and more to find services.
Users have the option to search anonymously or enhance their search experience by answering profile questions and customizing their search preferences. Furthermore, beyond its search functionalities, the application provides direct links to 24/7 hotlines via the “Crisis” category, allows users to bookmark favorite services for quick access, and sends mobile push notifications containing crucial County updates.

- Access critical resources and services such as afterschool programs, food pantries, shelter/housing assistance, job support, mental health services, legal aid, and more
- Directly contact 24/7 hotlines dedicated to addressing alcohol/drug issues, behavioral/mental health concerns, healthcare inquiries, domestic violence/sexual assault cases, homelessness assistance, and veteran needs
- Discover relevant services along with operational hours, contact details, addresses, target age groups served, and languages spoken
- Utilize location services to locate nearby service providers
- Initiate direct calls or emails to services through the app
